I wish every college professor was as good as this guy. So much enthusiasm! Such good speaking skills. Explains things so well. Includes visuals. Brings in other experts from time to time. It’s a like a free college course taught by an A-list professor.

This channel has kept me engaged for a couple months now. At least that's how long it seems. 🤔

I’m so glad the algorithm recommended this channel. I am really finding the way our brains work to be absolutely fascinating. But I am going to start from the beginning and go through all of the videos. Thanks for sharing this series. 😃👍🏻

The same as insulin resistance, in chronic presence of eccessive glucose the cells adapt and end up having fewer insulin receptors.

Watching this video, I had to pull out my hardcopy of "LIVEWIRD" and start re-reading it. I have been really studying this discipline as I am really interested in how understanding behavioral neurobiology in humans would help train law enforcement and military combat troops to more appropriately navigate one of the worst environments human must traverse: lethal force encounters (I spent 45 Years--1970-2015--as a grunt, safety services officer and first responder). Thanks so much for these podcasts.

I think this video finally explains why the camera angles constantly shift from close up to somewhat distant back to close up.

This also explains how I'm able to listen to podcasts 2.5x or 3x speed, and how briefly jarring it is to switch to 1x speed.

Addiction is not only about drugs, and just because someone doesn't scream, doesn't show off, it doesn't mean there is no pain.

I couldn't find the image example you talked about on your website? Also there's no link to Eagleman website in the description.
