So amazing. The fatigue is so true. Neuro fatigue after brain injury is one of the most challenging effects but having the knowledge to identify it allows you to set up your processes, systems, human side to have a plan to get through in the best way. Interesting to understand if people don’t have it in their repertoire to identify they are experiencing fatigue their “systems” don’t have any set ups on how to get through those scenarios in the best way possible.

It sure would be a relief to stop hating people who indifferently create misery. It would be a relief to not believe in evil. Animals hurt and kill one another but I don't know anyone who would ascribe evil to an animal.

Though I love Sapolsky, the question begged in some of the research he quotes is the morality of the experiments, however benign, on monkeys and rats and other animals is this morally acceptable?

In the dilemma situation I would Not push an innocent man onto the railroad even if that was to save 4 other people. I Could Not hurt an innocent being no matter what the situation "requires". I am Not a utilitarian philosopher. I am a Compassion philosopher. When we experience compassion in action potentials in our nervous system it has nothing to do with "enlightenment", bliss, fuzzy feelings, grandeur, grandstanding, whatever people might interpret into it. Compassion is actually painful because I suffer With the other. I don't see that many people in the world who experience this.

It is all a bit befuddling in regards to ethics and there are no completely clear margins. But we all should agree that animal testing is violence and it is wrong.

I agree. Testing on animals no matter for what and why is always wrong. They are innocent victims and cannot defend themselves. Why man thinks this is ok is beyond me.

Before blaming Hitler everyone should study Hitler’s Mom , like T. Bundy , and Ed Kemper , even Pablo Escobar , etc etc. but the way it’s portray is that its because of absent of their Fathers but what about the person that raised them ; and there you go that’s the answer to a long behavioral debate but unfortunately our Society is not ready to accept it.
