I had a driver of ours got told at Ohio scale on I-71 next to Wilmington told driver with oversized permit for 6 axles he had to have his pusher axle down on truck and permitted for 7 axles. I called permit office in Columbus and they said no that's not true when axle is raised non weight bearing it becomes part of the truck. Even checked with a friend a retired ODOT officer and he said scale master was wrong.

@@justincampbell4114 interesting! Good to know. I'm investigating this. I'd love to not run it down if I don't have to.

Mi is a ‘all axles down’ state not Ohio. All good tho, love the new trailer. Can’t hardly wait to see the new truck tho, epic

Is your game plan to run primarily equipment? If so get your self some g10 1/2 in chains about 6 ft long small hook on one end foundry hook on the other. And get some 3/8-1/2 in binders 16k. I would probably have 8 of those chains on the truck.

Already sitting at the shop my friend. I ordered 10 12 foot 1/2 inch going to chop a few of them in half.

Why not run that fourth axle up until you're in Ohio?
@PatriotSpecialized4 ай бұрын
I could for some states. Still putting a list together of which are ok and which aren't. So for now the permit people just permitted it this way.
