Ep 26 - New York City to Newport, Rhode Island

Enjoyed the video. Done the trip from Atlantic City to Jamestown RI, and it was a huge thrill coming into NY harbor and going up the East River. Narragansett Bay is where I do my boating in the summer and it is a wonderful area -- always something going on, regattas, boat shows, and interesting yachts visiting from all over the globe. Many fun harbors to visit in addition to Newport. Too many good restaurants to count.

Those little sailboats for kids are in heavy use in my family, we call the boat class optimists in Europe and we will strap 2 of them on a trailer next week going to lake como in italy. Greetings from Germany

That's awesome Axel. I think they call them the same here. Very cool to see the kids in sailing summer camp. I also think some go all winter and use dry suits for protection from the elements. We would love to sail on Lake Como. Our friend George Clooney lives there part time..
