I felt so heavy in my heart as she bwas ending her story I felt so sad for her and when she said how her parents told that whatever happens in school with the teachers they will believe the teachers....words are spiritual and they always find ways to fulfill the purpose of the words spoken....pole Lilian I really felt some heaviness in the last part

Part two please. It would be impo to get a better analysis. Kerry did a good job on the episode, the end of the marriage and where she is at now, felt rushed. It would be understandable, though, that she is still processing everything that happened to her. Quite courageous and brave of her coming out with this story.

Lilian is so strong...she has grown to be steadfast ... The 8 page report of accusations 😢...in the bible who is the one who accuses the brethren😮....anyway....we need to create a culture to realize we all have faults and maybe the bigger log in our eyes...it's scriptural,it shows humility....all of us fall short honestly!....and for the foster parents,we love them for supporting her through the years but the statement of believing the teacher if anything comes up in school,oh Gosh....I have no words

Part 2 plz. Lilly, nice catching up from Zulu show. Could it have been just him not able to handle pressures and the changes now having a child in the space? Covid lock down scares, and maybe if you both had sort proper counseling from certified therapist or counselor, not the Rev or from family within? Also were you a stay at home parent after marriage or you continued working or were just at home from lockdown or maternity leave? I feel this could have been salvaged with the right guidance and counseling in good timing like with Mr Zulu , but only if he was willing to participate. maybe getting another nanny help would have eased both of your baby blues. Anyhow, what is done is done. Goodluck dear in your next adventure, I believe you will bloom!🥰

I think the husband romanticized Lilian and loved her for the perfection she was and he was not able to see her for who she was and love her on the bad days. You can be friends with someone who doesn't really see you for who you are. So sad he had to realize that 4 years and a kid later in.

Listening to this and I can't help but sum up what she went through; love bombing, devaluation then discard. Do the maths Lilian, then you will know how to approach your healing journey. YOU ARE NOT WHAT HE SAID YOU WERE,I hope you stick to your version of the narrative, because this species are game on manipulating narratives. He studied your triggers and knew when to set you up. He also knew you had a shaky support system , fertile ground for him to execute his scheme. They also thrive in chaos, and they will spin it so smartly to make it look like it was you. Lots of hugs❤

I agree with you. What Lilly has gone through is narcissistic abuse. The partner probably had covert narcissistic personality disorder. That's why he could come up with lies and accusations about her(8 pages) despite pretending to be understanding and reassuring when she opened up to him that she was overwhelmed with the new baby and not having a nanny.( Why didn't he help her with the baby?) This is typical of narcissistic personality disorder, constant accusations, lies, spinning stories to make you doubt yourself and your reality (gaslighting), making you the villain and they the victim(it's always your fault never theirs), love bombing at the beginning -relationship moving so fast to make you committed/hooked (it makes your head reel), and quickly discarding you when you begin to question their actions or when they find a new supply who has not yet figured them out. When you go through a relationship with a covert narcissist it may take years to recover from the emotional abuse and educating yourself on the condition and seeking professional help to regain your self confidence and self worth is very important. They prey on your past traumas and mirror what you are looking for in a relationship in the beginning to ensure you fall fast. Check out Dr. Ramani and Les Carter on KZbin to learn more about the disorder and see if you could have been living with a covert narcissist so that you gain closure and understand that it was never about you or your shortcomings but about their warped view of life and self. You read my mind and I couldn't articulate it better!🙌 From her recount, she seems to still give him the benefit of doubt which is really worrying coz it will hamper her recovery journey. The fact that he can still use the baby to access her, especially if she has not discovered this truth and learnt how to protect herself and the child...I really pray she gets to read this. It's almost as if I was listening to my own story. Thank God I am on a steady recovery journey now.

Listened to the whole interview... I have learned quite a handful of insights. However, as I was listening, I felt like there are a lot of gaps and inconsistencies in the story. I don't think it's complicated as to what brought the marriage to an end... Yet that's what I couldn't gather from the story. @Kerry it could be done better... you've done better before 🙏🏽🙏🏽

The main issue with adoption is that someone can have a different perception of what could have been over what is. That's why adoption is tricky, esp for the parents. Parents might do their best, but interpretation by the child is skewed. And that makes me reconsider adoption, I can support from a distance.

Adoption of an older child is tricky it requires a lot of patience and love. The new parent should consider therapy cz of the past trauma. Any child adopted or not can become a monster there are kids killing birth parent/s... it's all by prayer.

​@DANIELMURGOR-j3j agreed that unhealed trauma can lead to projecting on foster parents, hence rebellion. Unfortunately, foster parents might not be equipped on dealing with such. As an adult I realised that life is tough, worse for some. It's just that we respect out parents enough not to write about family situation and discomfort we experienced as kids. We've grown that they As adults tried their best and that was/is enough.
