You guys should definitely make a video for the Radial Delayed Blowback 9mm bolts. The CMMG 9mm RDB kits are available with either a 5" or 8" barrel (I have both, as I couldn't pass the special sales price). They also make it for the .45 ACP cal. in both barrel lengths as well. The things I like about the RDB bolt is that it is a "hybrid", which allows you to use either the Glock, Sig 320, and Colt "stick" 9mm mags, as well as the Mean Arms conversion kit to convert a Gen2 or Gen3 PMAG into a 9mm magazine. The CMMG bolt also comes with the forward assist cuts, which I'm a big fan of. And regardless of what some people may say about the forward assist being "outdated", I'll answer that with "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" - If SHTF, there may not be any downtime where the operator can take apart their weapon to clean, so having a forward assist can be a lifesaver in situations where the weapon is running quite dirty. Plus it helps to make sure the bolt if fully seated/in battery when performing a chamber check to make sure a round is chambered.

Thanks at3 for doing these guides most of us can easily make ar's in 556 and 308 but 9mm is a different animal we appreciate this . I will be doing a 9mm sbr soon and this guide will be immensely helpful.

i bought 9mm uppers for a conversion and they said " do you want a Glock or colt bolt?" I was like " meh, just whatever, they're all the same right?"... turns out, no so much! Thanks for the info. and BTW - My RD-50 is still going strong after more than a year in the floorboard of my truck =)
