I read somewhere that many people want kids but not everyone is ready to be a parent. Because parenting involves everything - the good cute times and the very challenging times. Some people just want mini-me's but not the responsibility that comes with it

I love that lady, the childfree African and the way i see it as a mother myself is that we mothers have had many years to speak about our bundles of joy. The time is now in for the opposite of us #childfreewomen to speak their voice, a voice so much needed in our society because young girls need to hear all voices, so whatever they feel can be affirmed. Am sure it’s not every young girl who dream to be a mother hence the reason enough to have her role model voice highlighted. Am happy about this progress in our society

I think conversations such as this are so important. The fact is people are so triggered because its about control. About bodily autonomy. I think people who get triggered by a person saying they do not want children are so mad because they did not have the courage to make such an unusual decision. They are wondering, HOW DARE YOU HAVE A CHOICE AND TAKE IT? I dont think youll find wonderful mothers who are happy to be so, leaving ugly comment there. I dont think so. I am not on tiktok so I dont know how exactly it works, but I wonder as a happy mother, what are you doing watching content on being child free and then engaging? Why?

This is a thought, just a thought,a hypothesis...maybe the "happy" mothers engage negatively because they believe having a child is such a fulfilment and are wondering, how could someone possibly and willingly want to pass on such a fulfilment? It's like they don't know what they're missing? It's just like religion and someone being an atheist, a believer will always be mad.
