Took part in some Karoo cull hunts. Head shots only boys and at 200-400 yards you need to be on top of your game! If you miss you pay big forfeits later! The meat is highly prized in top restaurants! Woe betide a bad shot. There is no waste. The hide and horns are used unlike sheep in Europe. Hunters pay a huge premium to hunt unlike me on my Uncles farm where I just got to enjoy one roast! It was a supreme privilege to be regarded as a worthy shot to take these beautiful animals. My best rifle to this day is a Browning A Bolt 25-06 shooting 100 grain super fast Bullets.
