I'm curious about your option board. Every face painter has different ideas of what makes a good sign and I would love to know what your thoughts are. Also, I loved hearing how you respond to your clients. This was good for me for ideas on how to be more confident in my prusuits. Thank you!

Hi Shannon! Firstly, I sure appreciate your comment, thank you! 🌈🎨🦋 My sign is a word menu with a simple doodle of the design next to the word. The littles can identify most of the pictures and everyone else can read it. It also has a price on there. (I'll share a few new videos as soon as I have good Internet for uploading again! Lol) I have a word board so that I can use the same menu at every event. I can simplify a design for high volume or give it lots more detail at slower events. I love that I can change up the style too if I have an idea 😊 Butterflies, Brittany

Hey thank you so much for your video, it's great. I am wondering how you deal with fresh water and fresh clean brushes? It's seems you always have some new water and brushes for every new kid amazing

I use half pint (8oz) mason jars. 4 can fit in my case and I carry extra in my bag. I open a new one every 1-1.5 hours, depending on how busy it is.

​@@susannepaula I'm answering, only for me. I do have a lot of brushes, but NO, I do NOT have a brush for every client. I have different sizes for specific purposes. I also have multiples of the same brush, same size. It's hard to go from a black/ Grey/ white shark, to something pink, with the same brush. Thus, I designate brushes to certain colors. It's simply impossible to have a set per client! I paint dozens, upon dozens of people at every festival. I use containers divided into 4's for washing brushes. I have 4 of them. A divider for every color; extra for rinsing, and CLEAN water for wetting brushes. I think we ALL use brush cleaner, AND antibacterial in our rinse water. To have a hundred brushes in all sizes and shapes would be out of the question financially! And, how would we possibly carry them all🤷🏼‍♀️?

Thank you for your videos! May I ask if you procure parents consent for filming and taking photos for your portfolio? Some advise to get parents sign like a full permission slip. What is your approach?

My camera is in full view 🙂 So they're able to see the camera and let me know if they don't want to be filmed.
