Nerd question - for screen captures, are the current lat/long written to the PNG as EXIF metadata? If so, that would be a cool way to organize/search the photos. Regardless, fascinating series, thanks!

Hey James, glad you are enjoying the series! Currently the screen capture is not recording any metadata, but that is a good idea and will pass this along to the engineers! You are able to capture a lot of information when you mark catches and then view it in the TZ First Mate App!

2:50 to 7:25 With the exception of the noaa raster/vector chart discussion, which are basically the best charts Furuno offers, this section is so disingenuous that it calls into question the credibility of everything said in this entire video series.

Thanks for watching. This episode continues to introduce the four different systems, discussing the built-in features of each unit. We also discussed which charts you get for free and what you need to purchase with TZT3 and all of the other systems. Nothing disingenuous here, we are simply trying to layout all of the facts of each system. We encourage you to continue to watch more episodes to see the on-the-water testing to see how all four systems perform, allowing you to make your own conclusion on which system is best for your application.
