To anyone who just started with this video and is reading this comment, I highly recommend binge watching from the beginning. As far as small automotive channel goes, this channel, Ronald Finger, Restore It, and Soup Classic Motoring are my absolute favorites to binge.

I’ll have to check one Ronald finger and soup classic. Already enjoy restore it.

@@blacknightcreations Aww so you are already aware of his fondness of E30 Norway where he gets his panels. I was hoping they’d also have an M3 door :(.

I’ve contacted them with no response sadly. I just can’t afford the exchange rate and the shipping costs as well

Thanks for the kind words, I did actually have that on the cards for a future build to be honest.

Trial & error is just a part of problem solving with these modifications involved,but your solving them & the end result looks bang on👌🏻i take it you have to have a charcoal canister over there as here in the UK we dont. Keep up the good work workshop Lewis👍

Yeah I believe there’s different emissions laws for different countries. I’ll have to sort something out but I’ll do it in a later episode

Great job as usual. You should encourage comments as well. All hail the algorithm!

I find the best way to encourage comments is a tshirt giveaway. Just trying different things but probably should have spent more time taking photos for the thumbnail.

Awesome progress again. It’s looking phenomenal already. England salutes all your hard graft. This is the best build on KZbin. Such a down to earth build. Certainly taking shape. We can imagine you cruising along in it. Total head turner. 🇬🇧🇬🇧

thats ok lewis all roads lead to rome as long as your happy and it lines up. to get the tops of the rear quarter panels to pull in use 2 small ratchet straps in an x pattern strap at bottom pulling opposite top don't pull from top to top as it wont pull evenly over pull just a bit then release pressure till it lines up with the bottom cheers glenn
@blacknightcreations6 ай бұрын
Hahahah thanks Glenn, might shoot you a message when I get to strapping them to make sure I’m doing it right
@glennarnold39706 ай бұрын
@@blacknightcreations no worries remember to do cross measurements at the rear as well that will give a good indication it is straight top to bottom you have my number anytime cheers glenn

But Shop Lewis, I already hit the like button before you had even finished the intro… Also, a little late now, but why didn’t you just shave the filler door and relocate it to the inside of the bed?
@jasonball1716 ай бұрын
That would be sick
@blacknightcreations6 ай бұрын
I thought about moving to the bed or even moving in front of the wheel arch but I just figured this was going to look the most OEM and take the least amount of work.
