John 16 : 7 Jesus says....for unless I go away the Helper (the Holy Spirit ) will not come to you. The Holy Spirit was in Jesus while He was here on earth, so He had to ascend to Heaven before He could send the Holy Spirit to us.

Wasn’t that same Holy Spirit in John the baptist at the same time it swooped down from heaven and rested on Jesus’s head like a dove ? Luke 1:15-17;3:21-22 ; 4:1; 5:17; Mark 1:1-11. The Holy Spirit according to just the few texts mentioned above has omnipresence to be both in heaven and on earth at the same time. What Jesus asked of the Father is found in John 14 :15-31, what are Jesus’s exact words here ? “I will pray the Father and He shall send you “Another Comforter” , that he may abide with you for ever; even “the Spirit of truth”: whom the world cannot receive because it sees him not, neither knows him, but you know him for he dwells with you and shall be in you I will not leave you comfortless ; “I will come to you”, yet a little while , and the world will see me no more, but you see me :because I live ,you shall live also. At that day / year/ time you shall know that I am in my father and you in me and I in you .He that has my Commandments and keeps them , it is he that loves me and shall be loved by my Father and I will love him and will manifest myself to him.

John 14: 22-31 through Chapter 15 “ My Father is greater than I. I am the True Vine , and My Father is the husbandman . I am the vine , you are the branches. Every branch in me that bears not fruit he takes away ,every branch that bears fruit he purgeth ( purifies , removes impurities from, tries tests, restores, heals ) it that it may bring forth more fruit. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine.

God paints a picture here for us of the perfect family. The head or Father , next the Creator of offspring, then the children molded by both the Creator and Father’s own hands. Our heavenly family loves us , even the angels who watch over the Father’s children/ little ones.
