Former district and sessions judge Upendra Nath Rajkhowa in 1970 had buried his daughters along with his wife Putuli after strangling them. Rajkhowa had them murdered after a chance pathological test revealed he was infertile to become a father.he spied on his wife and found that a government officer would often arrive in a black car whenever he told her he was leaving the town on assignment.

I'm from Dhubri and we have been listening to this story since childhood and this bunglow was also believed to be haunted as narrated by many.. even my father told me a story about his ghost encounter while he was crossing the bunglow alone at night ... We used to be scared while walking by this bunglow when we were young .. but now the bunglow is not there anymore.. it is under construction.. anyway...loved your narration and you're probably the single one from whom I could know the complete story properly.. thank you so much for explaining the story

I visited Dhubri on 27th September 2021 and had a glimpse of the judges campus. New building under construction. The campus and the dilapidated building under process of dismantling stands a witness to a heinous crime that took place many years ago. Motive of the murder not disclosed and has remained a suspense for life time.
