What’s the oldest candidate you’ve had come through selection and get selected?

This is a great question. I guess for me when I was an instructor, you’d see most of the young guys come through and crush it. I can’t really say what the word Young means you just saw it in their eyes if that makes any sense? Sometimes it doesn’t, but when you see it, you know it. Anyway, the guy that came through really tried hard and even if they were young and again, I don’t know how young that is they usually did better than the guys that were older. Now, when I say older, I don’t mean older in a sense that they weren’t mature because they were they were just older, and not as in shape as the younger dudes because of life. Anyway, when I was an instructor we had this one old dude come through and I swear he looked older than me. I thought he had to be in his 40s. Of course, you could look up a student record and find out things like date of birth and whatever, while it’s protected, meaning it doesn’t get out to the public, it’s part of your normal profile in the Schoolhouse. But I looked at this guy and he was absolutely crushing the pipeline and I just had to know how old this guy was. So I walked up to him and I just asked “hey fella, how old are you? How old did you start the pipeline?! “ And he just looked me dead in the eye, and he said “About tree fiddy.“ And then I saw it was that damn Loch Ness monster!!!!!
