These are so fun - I just discovered this & I am having the time of my life. Some opinions; 1. I had an entire chaat everything on my Mehandi. There was no other food. It was just chaat of all kinds from India. 2. Maybe those sneakers with embroidery are an NRI thing, but I personally loved them with my half Lehanga. You could SEE them so that was kind of fun. I am an NRI now but I grew up in Delhi so aadhi NRI type. 3. Did have somewhat of a Roka but was more a ‘family meets everyone else in family’ and spends a nice day together. There was no Panditji etc. But it’s a thing on my partner’s side so it was a welcome tradition. 4. Don’t like pre wedding shoots and don’t like a hoard of photographers chasing me. And I am not famous, I’ll like to stay like that. I don’t know if you needed these but this conversation made me feel like I needed to jump in and say something. Keep doing these - you girls are giving me bestie-I-don’t-know vibes.
