I am catching up late, having taken a break from guitar stuff because I thought I would have to sell all my gear, and this episode is wonderful.

Slash needs to load up the Velvet Rose or A2BB. I have the A2 BB and it the best neck pickup I've ever heard or played...THE BEST! Sweet Child of Mine and November Rain would never sound so good!!

What is your opinion of the Dimarzio Transition pickups? They are the stock pickups in the Ernie Ball Musicman Luke LIII

imo the Ebow is terrible. there have been some great sounds created, its just a bitch 2 work with. i have no idea how people go from string to string without a bunch of noise because it necessarily rides on the 2 adjacent strings of the one you're playing.

Alnico 8. Wade rewound a 1977 Ibanez Super 70 for me in 2009, 8.2k, and it was just INSANE! The A8 magnet looked like an ice cream sandwich. Never seen a mag as big as the Super 70. I sold it in 2016 as my Blissterbucker was the main bridge pickup in that guitar. It was also a great neck pickup in my 83 Charvel paired with the Dragonsuit, but the T-Wreck ended up taking it's place in the neck and it was just great.

I like what i am hearing from Wade. First off he is a small maker and does not have thousands of pu's going out the door a day and second he is a Rock player(Marshall cranked,Friedmans,Metro amps) These things are important for me with a pickup maker. I will have tom get some of his pickups.

Not G12m 30 watt 55hz it a G12m 25 watt 35oz 55hz. Maybe your thinking g12h 30 55hz Dave...

Iv been to Wade’s house and played his guitars, pickups and amps! He has the ultimate tone lockout! Such a nice guy and incredible pickup builder. Everyone needs to pickup a set of his pickups. Support American pickups

Dave I would love for you to try my cables! The information that we never knew was their is scary. Signal path as you know is everything. Hoping that I will exhibit NAMM 24 with my monitors and audio cables. Very few realize just how smeared their cables are. This is high end but I want you to hear it and evaluate. Even using it in the amps is jaw dropping!

Wade is the man!! Motor City pickups sound so damn good. I have an Afwayu in one of my guitars and I don't think that guitar could ever sound better with any other pickup, it's pure glory.

Dave Gilmour also was a Fane speaker user. Hiwatts with Fane speakers a great combo and basically made of unobtanium for us normal players.

Patrick M the ghost needed a cable. Probably left his at the house in a hurry to get to the gig. We’ve all been there! Honest mistake 🤷🏼♂️ I’m sure he’ll take care of it and return it as soon as his gig is over.

Loved this episode! Great to see some extensive talk about cable. I buy Belden 9778 by the foot from RedCo. I also love Belden 9271 wired in semi-balanced but it goes microphonic on me a lot.

cables are passive devices, they don't add, they can only subtract ,i would say, they respond differently to different input and output impedances.

If you want more viewers, publish the show on the day like Phil McKnight and others do, few people will watch if we don´t realise it is on!

Mark, I have been subscribed since the second episode and the bell clicked but it does not always show up and when it does it is always late. An announcement earlier in the day will get you many more viewers for sure. Regards.

I like that you guys do these podcasts or webcasts, however l wish you would have structured interviews. Where you have a specific set of questions. Then let it devolve to a free form convo. These videos end up being way to long winded at times IMO so your listening for nuggets here & there but have to sift through a bunch of you might not care about in the process. If your going to chat for three hours it should go somewhere. Just my thoughts, l appreciate that you do these videos.

byronh77 Thanks for watching. However this is the structure of the show and many people love it. It’s staying exactly like it is but thanks for your opinion.
