Thank you, Vern. I needed to hear your story. My grandson was murdered and years later, my adult daughter. Forgiveness? I pray for the perpetrators. That is my healing. Grief never goes away, but prayer brings peace.

Grief certainly never goes away, and the idea of closure is just empty. There is no closure on such a loss. Prayer and reliance on the Father is key. Forgiveness to me is almost a foreign word. Rather I, in my mind, try to "blot out" the name of the monster that did this, in effect erasing him from history

At 21 my brother shot my abuser/boyfriend and then turned the gun on himself. I was so lost for years. I got in another abusive relationship and had a stillborn that led me to a suicide attempt and was in a wheelchair for 8 months. 😢 Drugs were my thing all through my 20's to help cope and deal. I didnt know Yashua and schysofrenzia had my mind thinking I had a secret relationship with an alien. Deviil at work. Story short I was called by Yahweh during my second pregnancy and repented and put down the "why do bad things happen to good people" mentality. My mom brought me to study scripture and helped me to come to Torah. When I found out my father expected obedience from me it was a relief. Praise Yah!

The Torah movement needs people like you Vern. And I relate to how he used a timid, reluctant Christian to bring the gospel at just the right time.

Romans 8:28 is SOOO prevalent here, though the mainstream has turned the evil into such a high profile case, YAH HAS SHOWN YOU THE WAY!!! Not many find it brother!! Praise Yah that you’re here with us!! I got chills hearing about how the Pastor prayed for the salvation of the boy left behind! HalleluYAH that you’re not only in the Kingdom, YOU’RE WALKING IN THE WAY!!! Could I please have the link to your book? Luke, you just bless me and my family abundantly so much!! Thank you for all that you & Kayte do for our community! I could feel your empathy as Vern shared his story. 😢 We praise Yah for all involved in this powerful TESTIMONY! PS I hope there’s a Part 2 to this story, and that it can be an interview with David aaand VERN!! Praying that David will be able to give this to Yah and walk in The Way as well! HalleluYAH ❤🎉

🙏I really enjoyed hearing Vern speak about how God reached out to him within the Christian Church. He has now come to a deeper faith in Yeshua. His eyes were opened to all of Yehovahs Word. God's plan of salvation is clearly delineated in His feasts. It's about living it in spirit and in truth 💯❤️‍🔥

Hello! It didn't take me very long to remember Vern's story. It was impactful. I came across it a year ago and remember looking it up online and also commenting in his channel. After such somber n dramatic experience, I hope to hear more about how his life has been progressing since Yeshua got a hold of his life.

Vern thank you for sharing your story. Your love of the Lord comes through. Isaiah 61:3 came to mind while listening. "To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them BEAUTY FOR ASHES, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified. Also I agree with you that learning the Hebrew language helps us better understand scripture and love the Lord. Praying for you brother!

A poem I recently wrote for my mom. I haven't thought about what to title it, perhaps just that,,,"for my mom.": I want to remember you more, but time and reality erode these precious treasures. I know who you were, yet it seems so hard to grasp who you are. Time with you, time without you. It all seems to merge together. Time seems so out of proportion. Time only serves to make my heartache grow. I'm trying to forget, and I'm trying to remember. Memories of you, I'll never surrender! Grief echoes in my mind, sometimes sharp, sometimes faint, but never not there. As scars remain on skin, so anguish lingers in the heart of this man. The love you had for me as your son, the love only a mother can give. I won't forget, I'll always remember!

Wow! I am so very sorry for your loss but praise Yahweh for bringing you through and not only that with this testimony of Salvation. Praying for Yahweh to heal your wounds. This is in no comparison to your story but I can relate a tad bit my older brother was also a victim of homicide at his home. It was a very very hard time for us but thank Yahweh for his mercy and bringing us through it.

Good job, Brother. Your account is simply more proof that YHVH either causes, or allows everything. It brings hope and excitement concerning all He has promised to complete, the comfort that is available in the present, and the reward of the future.

Will the Judge of all the earth not do what is right?-Gen. 18:25.A good judge needs to have a thorough understanding of the law. He should have a deep and strong sense of right and wrong. What else does a good judge need? He needs to be able to consider all the relevant facts in a case before he renders judgment. In this respect, Jehovah is uniquely qualified as Judge. Unlike human judges, Jehovah always has a perfect grasp of all the facts of any case that comes before him. (Gen. 18:20, 21; Ps. 90:8) He is not limited by what humans see or hear. He completely understands how a person’s actions are influenced by his genetic makeup, upbringing, and environment as well as by his emotional and mental condition. Jehovah also reads the heart. He fully perceives the motivations, intentions, and desires of each person. Nothing can be hidden from Jehovah. (Heb. 4:13) Thus, Jehovah’s forgiveness is always based on his complete knowledge of a situation.
