I honestly don’t know where else to go regarding this situation but our family has recently had a year long, twisted spiritual abuse situation by a famous “prophet” within the vineyard church who is on the rise. It has taken months just to work up the courage to say this here, ambiguously. I guess what I want to say is: “celebrity Christianity” continues to be problematic and there doesn’t seem to be a lot of regulation/protection because it’s….the church. To your point- this persons “gifting” is untouchable and not to be questioned, though we saw their character up close and personal.

I’m so sorry. It’s just such a sad state of affairs. And such a problem. I was reading some of the Patristics recently and the warning against false prophets was sooooo consistent. We need more of that warning, apparently
