I just binged watched all 36 episodes in succession. Absolutely couldn't stop watching. Wife got mad at me for choosing to watch your interesting vlog vs taking her to dinner. It was magical to say the least. Bradley, I want.... no I need one of them classic cutting boards. LOL

Whoa! That's Awesome! You just made our entire 2023 yr and it's only the 1st day of the yr 😄. We've put a lot of work in to the videos so the support means a lot. I truly enjoyed your series, music, content and the way you two put it together in a fun way. I worked on the barge tows and have seen most of the river myself and OHIO as well and the Atchafalya basin. Plus I lived in New Orleans for a time. I felt connected through your journey. These things change your life as I can see that it has done for you. Loved the story. Good luck with all

You don't really want to be in open gulf with your boat. If you go to Venice, you would have to buck that current back to NOLA. Jump into the ICW and go east. Plenty marinas in Mississippi ! Good luck guys !

One of the many reasons folks chose to take the Tenn-Tom waterway. Much more laid back with a lot more small craft services.

We are and were aware of Tenn-Tom waterway and recommend to others making the Loop, etc. but for us, going this way gave us a chance to see friends/family in Memphis, Vicksburg, Vidalia, Baton Rouge, and through New Orleans. Plus, I don't think our boat would have been able to make the trek from Mobile, AL back to New Orleans, where we're keeping the boat. Hopefully our videos allow people a chance to enjoy the Lower Mississippi that most don't have an opportunity to see. Thanks for following and please be sure to subscribe.

Yes I to really enjoy your commentary, but I'm also looking at doing this in a Future boat that I have not bought yet, do you offer any suggestions on what kind of boat to buy??

Thanks for following along. We've had discussions about this and haven't determined that, but thinking maybe a trawler or tug boat. A cabin cruiser would be a good option, but we really like the open decks. We wouldn't do anything over 40' as that seemed to be the max for a lot of boat slip lengths. Probably something between 36'-40'.

YUCK --- I remember them Mayflies on the Dock on the River in West Pointe à la Hache years ago -- they would be so thick and die eventually and be a few inches thick on the Dock then they begin to Rot and WOOOOOO the Stink was so bad i'd be gagging and heading back to the Land side of the Levee for Fresh Air.... best thing to do is leave all lights off during the Night-- they truly are attracted to any kind of light. I feel your Pain ..... Carl Sagan once said- if a common House Fly (who only lives & breads a few days then dies) -- IF they lived for 3 months the Earth would be covered 4 feet deep with them.
