Ah I'll need to try that edge technique for my next shawl. I cast on the Eremophila Shawl the other day and I'm too lazy to frog it but for the next one! The subtle stripes on your Lento look lovely as well :)

Could you just add the mohair after the cuff and before the heel, foot, and toe? That would save on yardage and reinforce the socks where it is most needed.

thats a lovely idea but think its actually the main colour i will run short on! its ok, its stash and its an experiment!!!
