If you want to see a band that is independent and does it right look at Angelmaker. Since RavenAge is doing such big European tours I dont see why they would take a major label deal. Chances are you'll be losing a huge chunk or the merch sales and possibly ticket sales which seems like a waste.

Actually, I did not want to get into the 'Steve Harris gave his son this awesome chance' debacle, because I had no clue that there was such a connection between the bands. I learned about The Raven Age from a friend who saw them opening for Tremonti and told me to check out their music. They really blew me away because they are an excellent band with great songs. Sure, maybe they wouldn't have gotten on 'this' tour with Iron Maiden, but I'm confident that the band would have blown other audiences' minds opening for another big band. Too bad my grandfather didn't get insanely popular, Julian Tharpe, the steel guitar player, or it would help me be in the music scene as well, making it more possible to meet these cool people!

Come on, you've a full on studio at home (dads house) funds.....lack of....Lauren tried, but failed. Her voice to weak for metal. George is a good musician, a good backing. I like your sound. Good luck
