2:48 The reason why running the germy water back through makes no difference is because the use of recycled "gray water" is actually promoted for use in toilets, and doesn't need to be super-purified (honestly, the germs SHOULD be dumped when it's filtered in general, but c'est la vie, ONI does ONI things). Your wastewater treatment is equivalent to an entire industrial wastewater treatment plant IRL, but then, it's also processing a lot less waste (and a lot cleaner waste), too, so it makes sense that such a small setup works for that purpose. If anything, the germs remaining are a sort of callback to it being "gray water", needing further processing to be potable, but still perfectly usable for external use only.

Just plug the cycle sensor to the incubators to be activated 5% of the time when your rancher is awake and crank the priority to max. For the ranches, plug the critter sensor (eggs only above 0) to the notifier to remove the eggs in a timely fashion before shipping is available. You can also use the interval timers, set the "off" period to 600 seconds, the "on" period to 30-60 seconds (depending on how likely your rancher is to be distracted with other tasks) and stagger their starts. I find the clock timers end up going out of sequence with the end of the lullaby, resulting in the timer switching off again before the dupe is actually able to sing to the egg again (their down time between activations is a little bit too short). Using the interval timers you can adjust the time between activations to sync with the actual time that the lullaby lasts. Only downside is that they'll slowly run forward into the dupe's sleep/rest period, so you'll need to reset them after the dupe sleeps in that case (or not have any eggs sung to for a few days as they slowly resync past the dupe's sleep cycle naturally).

I know I know, but we have access to bristle blossoms so lots of water for decent food, lots of water to make O2 and lots of water to make power. @@FrancisJohnYT There are a few things you can do to improve and ultimately get radiation cleaning for you. The doors do work. However, you need to make sure radiation covers every tile of your reservoir so that germs cannot reproduce. The pool should also be at a toasty 250-300 rads to really kill germs. Place the doors horizontally two spaces from each other every two vertical spaces in your pool. Take a wheezewort and pip plant it next to the geyser so that when it comes out, it's getting a nasty 350 rads. You could also expose your geyser to sunlight, and make a one tile-high-gap in a wall to the right of the geyser, so that the pwater runs through that gap and down into the pool, but is delayed by time, and the germ-killing power of the sun.

@@FrancisJohnYT Ran some tests. Yes, you must cover every tile with at least 1 rad, or germs can grow there. Mech Airlocks provide 58 rads, Manual 29, but that's double the cost. Germs will die at a steady rate, and once the germs hit zero, the rads quickly consume them. in a 14x11, a single wild wheezewart in the middle of a pool surrounded by airflow tiles can kill 1M germs in 3 cycle. I added your geyser to the equation, and 1 wheezewart couldn't handle it. Next, removing the wheezewart and adding doors to the pool so that rads covered all the liquid tiles and reset the germs to 1M took 8 cycles to kill the germs. Finally, I took the top off the pool and let the sun's 218 rads in and the pool didn't work because the pool was too thick. But a 6 block tall pool was cleaned by the sun in 6 cycles. Adding approximately your geyser to each of these completely overwhelmed my sanitation efforts. Okay fine, guess it's just relegated to lining the floors of my bathrooms, and stuff that's clean already.

It's so nice to see some ONI again. I'm really looking forward to watching you explore the new content. Would you please consider turning down the volume on the outro, though? It is lovely but so, SO LOUD. I often watch you to fall asleep (and I catch up in the morning!) but it's so not fun to be jerked awake by the end of the episode. Please?

I'll turn it down by about 25% and see if that works, if it's still to loud let me know.
