That's a nice helmet, I like how you have it set up. Do you reenact?

What song do you use for your intro?

Pretty cool! You could also add simple stuff, I only have one very small thing (chapstick) and no graffiti. Also my dad went into the marines in 1986 and they had m1s in boot camp with the cup chinstrap (the 80’s one everyone knows) but they ended up with PASAGT helmets in Infantry Training School a few months to a year later. Then he has a PASAGT in Desert Storm

are you going to do the C rat accessory pack tutorial or can you send me the pdf or something?
@certifiedhistorynerd7 ай бұрын
Oh that’s cool!
@minutemanstudios13387 ай бұрын
@@aydenwarrior9653 oh, it’s super simple and it’s not a pdf. You just get some paper bag or something, cut it, make a little pouch, and cover it with brown duct tape from the store. You can line it with whatever you want to as well.

Would brown packing tape be more accurate?

I know you are in the relm of cold wars era stuff but maybe some modern or early modern unifroms and equipment in the future
@certifiedhistorynerd7 ай бұрын
Probably not, it’s not really my interest. Interestingly enough Cold War stuff ain’t really my favorite, I much prefer WW1. The 80s will probably be the most modern thing I do.

Could I use a World War II helmet liner in my steel pot for a 1968 1969 impression 25th infantry?
@certifiedhistorynerd7 ай бұрын
No, you could use the Korean War era ones which are similar to ww2 just green. Although the actual Nam ones would be more common by that point

High pressure liners WWII liners do show up here and there, really only pressed paper and low pressure liners would be incorrect. Although by 1968-1969 the numbers of WWII liners would be lower than 1965. But still, there's even a helmet in a US army museum with a Westinghouse factory jungle camouflage liner (made from February 1942 until March 1944) that was worn by a soldier who served in Vietnam from 1969 to 1970.
