I admire you're 'go for it' attitude. I have been around that area and opted out of the Gibb River Road because a I was worried about damage to me car and trailer. I now have a wonderful Troopy, so maybe next time it'll be The Gibb and elsewhere. Meantime good luck and happy trails to both of you.

+thumpergman hahaha thank you :) I was a bit disappointed with distance to Bell Gorge and that's partly what "nice" refers to. Also, it was a bit crowded and I was suprised to see that it's full of people. The gorge itself was breathtaking, especially from the bottom, but at that moment it didn't come across that way. /Sandra
