Pretty interesting podcast, I had not seen it before. I subscribed, and am looking forward to additional episodes. I'm a 77 year old Geezer who has been a Duke fan since 1977, Go, you Blue Devils!!

You were talking about comparing Ryan Young and Maliq Brown one of the plus side you mentioned about Young is a crafty post scorer, On the other hand he got blocked quite often as I can recall. Plus Minus Ryan Young is not even comparable to Maliq Brown IMO. Mailq was a good pick, Ryan was a pick from sister University Northwestern that's it.

James will start over Foster eventually.

Day one he will, he’s more versatile

@@TheHardTakeI don’t mind this, regardless caleb will still play 20+ mins, I feel he’s better off the bench as well but I’m sure they’ll be times in the games where the 3 guard lineup plays in the game for maybe a good 5 mins total

I think James is a huge difference maker!

This team reminds me of the 2021-22 team. Stars in Paolo & Flagg Shot blockers in Williams & Maluach Scrappy rebounding bigs in Theo John & Maliq Brown Physical perimeter players in Wendell/Keels & James/Gillis Microwave shooters/scorers off the bench in Griffin & Evans. Proctor and Foster don't really compare to Roach, but the rest is very similar

I never saw the hype with foster but I’d be willing to be Harris our performs him this summer and earns a role on this years team.

@@Evolution10X I liked Foster in his freshman year. Sometimes got lost in the shuffle, but most of that was due to being the 4th guard on the team. But that is true, I didn't even mention the other freshmen in Knueppel, Harris, and Ngongba that could contribute.

I think Harris will earn his time with this 24/25 team. Foster will be the odd man out by November. I love this signing btw. Dukes 24 team has a chance to be one of the most defensively talented team we have ever put on a court. Excited to see them gel.

Foster will def not be the odd man out. He’s gonna make a BIG jump next year

That just was the the case, kids must have playing time early in the season to develop during the season, they just got little pt time even in the blowout games Duke has always in the past been able to recruit and develop our players without transferring them in , after some other school has developed them , it should remain the case today!

I will say this over and over. Evans will start he’s just as talented as Flagg. Probably better offensively. I got for the starting five Proctor Foster Evans Flagg Khaman That’s it Evans will start We need these portal guys to come off bench be strong be smart on the court make the right plays play they’re role and be good practice guys to make the starters better. That’s it. Give Flagg and Evans the ball and get out the way. They recruiting boozers and aj

That's a "skinny" lineup. I think Brown , James, and Gillis will see significant playing time once ACC play starts. Remember the narrative about Duke last season? "Oh, we can just push these guys around." I don't see any of those 3 getting pushed around, and I don't really see Proctor and Foster being intimidated either.

I see three guys emerging as McCain like assassins from our pool of shooters (Proctor, James, Foster, Gillis, Evans, Kneupple, Harris). Pittsburgh and Miami are top 30 teams next season. The microphone is fine.
