Wow!! My wife and I only recently discovered your channel/adventure. We've binge watched the entire journey down the Mississippi from the start (in a week lol). We not only fell in love with y'all and y'alls adventure but OF COURSE Ponce too!!! Cassie and I extend our deepest condolences.....albeit very late, we just found out. 💔 We've subscribed and will definitely keep on following along with you two!! Hi Bradley and Margaret: I just watched your great tribute to a great dog. Terrific! On another note, I had been and still am writing to y’all on my wife’s iPad. Her name is Jo Carr and i’m Dale Carr. We live just outside of Jackson, Mississippi. Sad to say, she passed away on February 11, 2023 after an extended illness. As a waterfowl hunter, house boat owner and whose family has always had dogs, our condolences for the loss of Ponce. A good dog is special. However, a dog that sync's with a family like Ponce did is a blessing from God. Only on ep 44 and cannot wait to see the rest of your adventures to come. If you ever find yourselves near Bugg's Island lake, stop by and pay us a visit on our houseboat......It is an 89' 64' Sumerset. We don't even have to be there.....See you learn what you did while on the trip down the river makes you both qualified in my book. Be safe and God Bless!!

I looked up Bugg's Island Lake and crazy enough, our canoe friends we were intertwined with going down the river live on Lake Gaston not far from you. We already have a big trip planned for this yr, but it sounds like we need to make plans to head your way next summer.

Ponce was a special dog, but a lot of people go thru this because the life expectancy of a dog is far shorter than humans. I'm sorry for your loss. We had a golden retriever that was part of our family. He left home one day and didn't come back. We still miss him.

I made have missed in watching all your videos, just wondering how many gallons of gas it took to make the trip from Minnesota to New Orleans. It was also to see how not readily available gas was on the way down the Mississippi River Thanks

Without looking through log books, we covered close to 1,700 miles and averaged abt 2 mi/gallon so I'd say approximately 850 gallons of fuel.
