Me too! I want them all🤣! I absolutely agree that the look of the book is important. I tend to really be attracted to anything published by meteor books. All of their books are so attractive and inspiring and well put together 🤗. I think it's an amazing that I have 59 amigurumi books, and there are still some books that you and everyone that have done this tag have inspired me to get. I love seeing everyone's collection. I too am a book snob 😉. We like our books to be attractive and we need to feel that it was worth the money for the book. Thin books feel like pamphlets. Pamphlets are not books🤣. That is the hardest question ever so I can't answer it🤣, but I can tell you the book that everyone freaks out over when I pull it out is the Pokémon crochet book. That book is a definite favorite and the patterns work up well. I can tell you my most treasured book in my collection. It is amigurumi world by Ana Paula Rimoli. She is an excellent beginner designer. I have since progressed from her style, but I love that book because it began this wonderful journey 20+ years ago😊. Thank you for showing us your book collection. It's so exciting to see what inspires us. 🥰

My craft of choice is knitting. But I found this tag not long ago and I fell through the rabbit hole. Books and yarn are my loves. When you join the two, I'm lost. I presently have 21 amigurumi books, 8 are on the way to me and 12 are in my Amazon basket (for now!!!). I prefer the physical books because I tend to forget the digital ones. And I too am a snob. Unredeemable. I'm trying to make at least one pattern from each book. No books are going to stay unused. But, of course, I want to have all the books and I want to make all the patterns (several times). I have to say some of my favourite are French. There's a companion book to the Noel one (about la Mer) and I'm now making a doll from the book Les poupées de Lulu au crochet. This is an adorable book.

The first amigurumi book I bought was the Pica Pau book, because I loved the animals pictured so much…….and I couldn’t even crochet! However, I taught myself crochet by watching KZbin and this book motivated me to keep practicing until I felt confident enough to try amigurumi. Many animals and creations later, my favourite amigurumi book is Loveable Amigurumi Toys by Mari-Liis Lille. Her patterns are beautiful and I’ve made a few from this book. The book itself is lovely quality with excellent photos, because I’m a book snob too!

I enjoyed your book review so much. I especially like that you have made things from so many of your books and could comment on the content. I am very guilty of purchasing amigurumi books but not making from them. Instead I purchase patterns from Etsy. I believe it is because I can read the pattern from my phone or iPad easily as opposed to trying to keep the book open to the correct page. My favorites are the same as yours, both #1 and #2. I have started collecting Zoomigurumi and have the first 10 thus far. But I prefer more complicated patterns when it comes to actually making them. I really enjoy your channel.

I laughed so hard when you said you were a book snob 😂 Love it! Very nice collection you have! UK terms are easy, you just have to train your brain that double crochet is single crochet. Most patterns as you know only use single so there's not a ton of variation in the stitches to remember. I forgot I have Zoomigurumi one as an ebook as well from that same way. It wasn't my favorite list of animals though. I would like to collect all of those one day. I have been eyeing Amigurumi monsters since I've seen a lot of people have that one.
