The overliner makes keeping your helmet clean since you can just remove that and wash it. It also makes it really comfortable and it absorbs sweat. The 360 and Speed come with it. The Edge is pretty much the same as a Speed only no overliner.

After you push the pin in, squeeze the back and the top with your fingers till the pin is flush with the quick release point.

All Speed Facemasks have the same hardware and it's sold as a kit on the Riddell website.

The fit is the exact same as the Speed. Did you put any air into your medium? If you wear a medium in a Speed, you will wear a medium in a 360.

You don't have to put the overliner in, but it makes cleaning your helmet easier. And makes it more comfortable for me, but no you don't need it in the helmet.

Nope...I wear a visor so no need for the eye guards also the straight bars block more of your vision than the S-bars. Best Speed facemask for a free safety or corner in my opinion is S2B...thats why I have it on both my Speeds.

There are more speeds because the 360 is new. Speed has been around for over 5 years so of course more players have speeds than 360s. There are also more original Revos than Speeds because Revos have been around forever. In fact there are even more Original Riddell helmets that aren't even safe and that's just because players don't like changing what they are comfortable with.

Hey one question! When do you expect a new riddell helmet to come out because this summer will be my third year using an speed but I'm not sure when the next helmet succeeding the 360 will come out so should I wait a couple of years for a new one or buy the 360? PS Best football gear videos :)

alright thanks. i believe we only put a little bit of air to make it fit. the only thing is the speed seemed like it sat just a touch high. but the 360 seems to sit low so that might just be what the speed was supposed to do. but i tried on some larges and they seemed too big, but the riddell website said i need a large?

Only the Speed has that type of mask. I probably won't review it because I wouldnt use it in practice. That facemask makes the helmet heavier and decreases visibility for skill positions.

Tell her its supposedly one of the safest helmets in the game according to the Virginia Tech helmet study and that it may prevent brain damage including CTE when worn properly. CTE has reportedly been linked to dimentia later in life that results in players killing themselves and others.

So you can wear the helmet without the overliner, right? The Revo Speed and Revo Speed Classic are the same price and same helmet but the Classic doesn't have the overliner in it. I was wondering if I could buy the Revo Speed and sell the overliner and just wear it like normal, since they go for $25-40.

One Question Please. Can and if so how do I remove the Riddell and Speed Logo that is on the Temples of the helmet? My sons school changed their helmet color and he has to have it done in two weeks so my husband is going to paint it. I have all the information I need for him to do this project ( thanks to you ) except for those two Logos. I guess we could mask them off but gosh I would rather not even attempt that:) Best informative video I have found! I will be referring to your videos if I need to know something. THANK YOU

I use a hobby knife to ply them off...they are glued on. Then after I paint, I use krazy glue to stick them back on.

i wore the revo speed last season and i have always wore a medium. well the speed sat a little high but fit comfortably; the riddell website said i need a large but im only a little larger than the lowest large size. im also getting the 360. how does the fit between the two compare? should i get a large or medium? i also have 3 years left in high school

The helmets fit the exact same. If it sits too low, you fill the air bladder...that's why they are inflatable.

Hey how are you doing my son is turning 5 yo I tried on a youth Riddell Victor inflatable s/m and it fit him great I want to buy him a Revo speed they didn’t have any in stock to try what would you recommend?

D Taylor the sizing is the same. It's the materials in the adults and youth that are different. Youth need lighter helmets because their necks aren't as strong so when they get it the weight of the helmet causes more damage because the neck can't support it.

I Know Football ok that makes a lot of sense for a youth player if you had the choice to pick between a Revo 360 for 50$ or a Speed for 100$ which is the better choice

D Taylor I would do a speed. It has a smaller shell and is lighter which they have found protects better than a 360 in real world application. This is because a smaller shell creates a smaller Target to hit and lighter weight means less torque on the head and neck in collisions.

Since your Speed is new, you will not have to take out the padding to remove the face mask....just press and hold the forehead part behind the screws and use the screw driver.

By the way, you can tape the square part of the nuts on (that hold on the face mask) the inside of the helmet to keep them from spinning
