I am NOT a Raiders fan BUT I will say that moving to Las Vegas is the smartest decision that the Raiders organization has ever made. I seriously think the Raiders will flourish in Las Vegas.... Not on the city to get it done. Billion dollar franchises should pay for their own stadiums. Rarely have these types of deals ever benefited cities long-term. From the Raiders standpoint, its a once in a lifetime deal. $750 million given to them basically for free. Question will be long-term if they can consistently fill the stadium and how much of a homefield advantage they will lose. As well going to such a dramatically smaller market is also a risk. There's a reason the Giants Warriors 49ers and A's all have done everything they can to stay in the bay area and build either in their city or the surrounding areas.

@@ptor175 1. You're right, they're worth more than $1 billion. Forbes had them valued at $2.4 billion as of September 2018. And its not just because of the new stadium. Forbes has valued them at over $1 billion since 2015. 2. I live here, the Raiders have made little to no effort to build here. But that's not their fault. Mark Davis is one of the most cash-poor owners in the NFL. On his own he can afford to maybe put up about $500 million to build a stadium. Most are going for 4X that amount now. And to build in California, you have to pretty much finance the entire stadium yourself (see the Giants, Rams, 49ers, Warriors). Mark needed the type of help that no city in the bay area or California in general could provide. He had few options. But like I said there is a reason that the other teams in the bay have done everything to stay, even when its required to build outside of their original city. And I'm not a raider fan, but i do live in the East Bay, I am fine with them leaving. Just wish they would pay off all their bills before they left town lol

This video must've been at least a month or two behind because a lot more of the steel structure was in place when I was there.

I'm a Raiders fan since the Ken Stabler's days. When I see this stadium I don't know what to say. This is great technology. But for me, the emotions, the great games, the history, those personalities (Sistrunk, The Stork, Alzado, etc.) the brand, the image will always be in Oakland. Some will say I'm a nostalgic. Yes I'am. I will root fot my team, but it won't be the same. Tony Bennett said «I left my heart in san francisco». With this move, the Raiders left their TRUE identity in Oakland. Maybe we live in an era where those things doesn't matter anymore.

As a Raiders fan here in Los Angeles and loving to go to the Bay Area to visit for the weekend. I enjoyed the culture that us all Cali natives would bring to the games in Oakland. I for one did not like the news of them moving to Vegas. But this stadium and how amazing and state of the art it's looking like makes me embrace this move. I'm excited now. I’m not a season ticket holder so I won’t be going every week when they have a game, just on special games. Also I won’t be needing to pay for hotel or rental car.
