I’m a cement truck driver and I started listening to brown bag when it was on episode 33 and ever since than I have missed an episode I even went back to listen to all your previous episodes and I’m hooked…I didn’t grow up in LA I’m from Sacramento but it’s crazy how much I can relate to the stories you guys tell despite the different culture that NorCal has from SoCal. Theres another girl on tik tok who is Mexican from the UK and it trips me out when she speaks Spanish because there is no British accent. Her dad traveled alot to Mexico for work and met her mom in CDMX (I believe). Her mom then moved to the UK with him and that is essentially how her mom ended up there. We’re all over the world my mom was very affluent in Mexico & only came to America for college and ended up meeting my dad that’s a mix of different races and ethnicities,my sister was on a trip in Mexico because we grew up going back and forth from the Mexico to America because we have no family in America although they have visa and come to visit none of them like it or want to live here my mom was the only one who moved to here my sister last summer went on a trip to Tulum with her friends because as I said we go back a lot and she met a British guy and is now engaged and moved to The Uk and we’ve gotten the opportunity to travel a lot when we were younger with my parents and I can tell you were all over the world you’ll find Mexican people and food everywhere my biggest trip was when I was in Hawaii and even there all the gardeners were Mexican long story short my mom ended up moving back to Mexico this year and my dad is moving to the Caribbean to retire because he didn’t like America either and I’m in the US alone my family didn’t even last one generation in America so it happens pretty often
