Ep 6 : Question : 2:20 If I am “God” then what is the need for the sadhanas people do today ? How am I, God? Is saying “I am God” not egoistic ? Answer 2:35 : This doubt arises only upon deliberate or ignorant mistranslation of the Mahavakya “Aham Brahma Asmi” . A few know well the purport of this Mahavakya ,yet deliberately, to incite hatred and misguide the public , translate this as “I am God” I am God” in other languages . And hence they gain brownie points by pitching the people against their opponent's philosophy . This has always been the case with those who have nursed a grievance and hatred towards Advaita philosophy . If the writers have transalted the Mahavakya without understanding the actual import , it is just blunt ignorance . Coming back to the topic at hand , the actual meaning of the word “Brahman “ as it occurs in the Mahavakyas (also referred to as “That ”) is , as we have been discussing all these previous episodes, the One Ultimate reality . It is the only substance -existence. What the Mahavakyas (note this is not Adi Shankara or Gaudapada or any other propagators saying ) exclaim is the union of the “Aham” = jeeva with the Brahman upon Moksha . This is the meaning of Aham Brahma asmi = I , the jeeva , am actually Brahman . Now what does this mean ? Before that , let us see what it Is not claiming. The most common error (deliberate or otherwise) that people do in understanding this is to substitute “God” (and our perception of God thus) on the word Brahman when they are philosophically very different . As we generally perceive , God is the “Saguna rooopa “ (with qualities and properties , however magnificent or supreme they may be) . This is technically termed “Ishvara” in Advaita . No Mahavakya asserts the unity between the Ishvara and the Jeeva . (God and I ) . Advaita philosophy ,also never claims the same , derived from the Upanishads , which contain those Mahavakyas . The God that people conceptualize is that of an Avataara ( like Krishna , Rama , etc ) or a deity (like Indra , Agni , Varuna ,etc) or Pauranika Gods Brahmaa , Vishnu , Maheshvara , or the Goddess Devi . What is common to all is 1) they are supernatural beings with exceptional capabilities(powers) above all 2) they are Saguna manifestations of the same Divine principle we term Brahman . 3) they are worthy of worship . They can be pleased and interacted with , by following specific Upasana disciplines . This is not at all what equality holds . They are not me . They can do things that I cannot . They can exist in realms I cannot . They lived in different times whereas I live now . How can I be the same as those deities , gods ? No I cannot be , shouts Advaita deafeningly . Still the cause for misapprehension is the trickery and motive to defame the same . In the analogy from Ep 1 , the smaller circle cannot be the same as the larger circle . Because if it were , then they should be capable of holding the same amount of writing . Since they cannot do so , the equality is false between those entities . What then does the Mahavakya claim ? Through the analogy , it claims that the smaller circle , upon “Moksha” (removing all Maya ; here , the conditionings like the pencil mark , the radius and the centre) , becomes the A4 pure white sheet verily. Similarly , the jeeva , upon Moksha, becomes Brahman . So is this “becoming” some transformation like metamorphosis of a buttery , or the alchemy of gold ? Does this equality hold only upon Moksha ? No . Was the white paper not always there , even as the Jeeva (small circle) existed. Was the white paper not the true identity of the “circle” even before erasing or creating one in the first place . Thus , Brahman is essentially all there is , even before Moksha , but the mind which operates on Maya , perceives itself to be different ; hence the jeeva -bhaava (small individual existence ) But when Moksha occurs the understanding is the clearest . Upon removing the Upadhis from the jeeva , what remains is the Whole-the Brahman . Similarly too , the white paper was the real identiy-nature of Ishvara -largest circle scibed on paper . Ishvara also gains it’s identity by operating on Maya (the conditioning parameter may be most extensive, that is the difference. here, the radius and centre are different from the smaller circles’ ) . As Advaita postulates, Brahman is One; hence Ishvara , in true essence, is also the One as is Jeeva , in true spirit. So the word”true spirit” is nothing but a paraphrase of Paramarthika (from the ultimate standpoint) .. Here ultimate means removing (refusing to identify with) the conditioning of Maya and remaining Unlimited . The saint who realizes this , the equality of Brahman and the jeeva (oneself) cannot be disturbed henceforth .No suffering can befall him/her /it . One remains peaceful and self-content. I repeat , no sorrow, born from the mind , body or any other , can befall it . This is the self-realization spoken about in Spirituality . This is the moment of Moksha . It is having attained to this Jnaana (Wisdom) no other desire or dreams affect this One . Now the question of why upasanas and sadhana - Here is another relatable example . Person J wants to travel to America or some other country . Person K is his friend . J cannot travel to America on his own , by foot . He has to take a flight . But is the flight parked in his garage ? No . So he has to go to the airport . is the airport just beside his house ? No . He has to take a bus / autorickshaw . Is he the owner of a bus or an autorickshaw ? No . So he has to walk to the bus-stand or the auto-stand . Without taking the next step in his house can he reach America? No . This J understands . So he walks a little . he runs a little . He takes an auto to the bus-stand . From there he takes a bus to the airport . Now his friend K catches him on a bus . J had told K that he would be traveling to America the next day . So K ridicules J and asks why he is taking a bus ? Is J going to travel to America in abus? Has there been a new bus route introduced ? Hahaa . Has the state launched a one-stop non-stop super-bus ? No obviously . This allegation is baseless - Because the bus is to commute to the airport . And from there , an aeroplane is to commute to America . What is not possible through one means is achieved through another . Moksha os the destination .This relaisation of “Aham Brahmasmi” is the destination . (note this is not to be played down for entertainment purposes) To get there , we need the airplane of Brahma-Jnaana . To get Brahma -Jnaana we need to have a pure mind , a focussed intellect and a healthy body . [Purity of the mind-emotion can be achieved through Bhakti and Karma. A healthy body with good lifestyle , Yogasanas , and Karma (selfless service to fellow beings . A focused intellect through Dhyaana-mieditation Dispassion, Discriminatory ability , moral conduct , emotion in control , and a burning desire for Moksha .. these are the wealth earned through other maargas of sadhana . ] These facilitate the possibility and fructification of the last steps -the flight journey-Jnaana Vichaara -self-inquiry . So Adviata never ever dismisses the pursuit of any material or spiritual sadhana . It is for those who want Moksha . It accommodates Bhakti , Dhyana , Karma into the main sadhana -Jnana . Run away from people who say otherwise . Each of these and their necessities and their role in Moksha , have been elaborated in Advaita .

There's no difference between Shiva and Vishnu.. Hence everybody should prostrate to Sri Maha Vishnu with great devotion. He is the Atman. He is the Paramatman. He is the Antaratman. Brahma is the Antaratman. Siva is the Paramatman. Vishnu is the Eternal Atman of all this universe. This whole creation of Svarga, Martya and Patala Lokas is a big tree. Vishnu is the top portion (branches) of this tree. Brahma is the stem. The root is Lord Siva|| RUDRA HRUDAYOPANISHD|| They both are the same manifestation of the single entity called THE BRAHMAN / PARAMATMA. you can worship Shiva, you can chant Vishnu sahasranama. In the end of all goes to Brahman only.

@@vinayakashenoyk4622 ಕೃಷ್ಣ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ವಸ್ತ್ರ ಅಥವಾ ಉಡುಗೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾಗ ೨ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಉಪದೇಶಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಜಡ ಕ್ಕಲ್ಲ. ಅದು ಜೀವನೇ ಇದ್ದಿರಬೇಕು . ಈ ಜನ್ಮದ ಶರೀರದಲ್ಲಿರುವವ . ಅಜ್ಞ ಅಂದರೆ ಜ್ಞಾನಿ /ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲವ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅದು ಖಂಡಿತ ನಾವಲ್ಲ . ಅದು ಅವನೇ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಜ್ಞ ಅಲ್ವೇ. ಯಾಕೆ ಸಂಶಯ?

When it is said that Brahman is Sat, Chit and Ananda svarupa, what is meant is it is not asat, jada and duhkha. These are not gunas.

ಅಜ್ಞಾನ ಇರುವುದು ನಮಗೆ ಅಂತ ತಿಳಿಯಬೇಕು. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಅಜ್ಞಾನ ಎಂದರೆ ಈ ವಿಶ್ವದ ಮೂಲ ನಿರ್ಗುಣ ನಿರಾಕಾರ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಯದಿರುವುದು. ಜ್ಞಾನ ಬಂದವರಿಗೆ ತಮಗೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತ ಇರುವ ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೂ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸದಾ ಕಾಲ ಅರಿವಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

Once if u say Sathya to jagath why it must not be accepted always and next why we should accept prathibhasika instead of that say it as only asath why to say three satya there u may get kalpanagourava please get me answer for this.
