My favorite part of being an Aroha is watching Astro grow. Each one of the members is amazing in the support they give each other and in the trust they have in one another. It is truly awesome to see a genuine group of individuals work hard, good people, and always remember the ones who support them. Sidenote: I am thankful that they were appreciative of the gifts Aroha sent them. The members treated the lei respectfully and didn't make fun of it like I have seen other western people do. In Hawai'i, we pile those lei up past the person's head during moments of celebration (ex. high school or college graduation). I hope one day when all this world pandemic is over I can see them and give each of them a lei.

I was part of the live audience for ASTRO and even I got emotional during “we still.” The staff told us it would be a fan featuring stage but nothing else was told to us, so it was a complete shock when we showed up with the blue water. I still get chills from that performance.
