Hello! I’m a Ewha graduate and I somehow ran into your channel. I lived in Sg for 2 yrs when i was young. I loved it there, miss Sg sooo much. It is really interesting for me to see Singaporean’s point of view about korea and ewha. Love your videos. Hope you have a 대박 semester here. Ewha welcomes you🌸🥰

hihi ive asked this on your tiktok before but are you able to share why you chose to stay in the dorm instead of other housing alternatives like sharehouse/airbnb/ goshiwon? (: bc as im aware, the dorms in korean unis (at least for mine that im going for next year) have v strict rules like curfew and not being able to cook/ bring friends over to the room!

Hi! I made a pros & cons list but I may make a video talking about this in the future :) -- DORMS -- pros: - safety (security guards, CCTVs, building security, etc.) - convenience (getting to school fast, having english-speaking staff for help) - cleanliness & upkeeping (sometimes housing outside can be hit or miss, with mold issues, etc. but in dorms you can always get someone to fix things) - space & facilities (the ewha dorms looked really spacious & nice) - price (is around the same as places i found outside) - no curfew (for international dorms) - trash & recycling (you just have to throw them in the right bins, instead of doing your own recycling if you were to stay on your own) - no need to sign leases or contracts (which could be in Korean) cons: - as you said, more rules like no alcohol, no bringing friends over (because of covid), no visiting each other's rooms - paying for laundry - demerit point systems (dorms, in ewha at least, have a strict demerit points system and if you accumulate enough, you can get evicted) - going through other mandatory procedures, like bi-weekly covid tests (which are free) but for me the pros outweighed the cons as the cons didn't really matter to me that much, so i chose the dorms :)

Hi, could you help with smth? actually i applied to ewha to fall semester, and i notice in the guidelines you have to comprove $20,000 in a bank account to get there (in the consulate interview) did you have to do this?
