Beauty of Buddhism comes when Neo-Buddhist cult always do one thing for 24*7 -Abusing and insulting Hindu Gods Real face of Buddhism u ll understand when u start reading Real history Buddhist bikshu are one who supported muslim to attack sindh And that was the time when "India wahi se Gulami start hui"

OK you are right that Tawang circuit if you want to complete than according to spot wise starting from 1 to 9 days minimum & up to 25days will be cover as a whole both the once Historic Kameng Frontier in British regime now West Kameng dist & present Tawang Dist. This circuit lies totally DIVERSE East Himalayan eco system wet zone. Flora & fauna totally endemic than rest of Himalayan zone or world. Lhasa is the shortest distance from Tawang. One famouse trekking route lying throughout the districts link with Tibet, trek named was derived a British surveyor FM Baily, who had 1st search a short trade route towards linked up with Tibetan Capital Lhasa but his attempt was failure due to harsh weather & hazardous landscape. Still yak shephered using this route as their pasture valleys, very very panoramic this route 9 to 11days from Dirang to Thimbu near Tawang along the Gowrisen & Kengto peak the highest peak in Eastern Himalaya.....👍👌👌👌👌

Beautiful beautiful episode, thanks for spending so much time highlighting the sacrifices made by our valiant soldiers in protecting our homeland. Tawang is beautiful and sedate, it feels like a home away from home. While appreciating the beauty shown in this episode, the last few moments of the episode showing Bumla pass are hauntingly beautiful, mystic and are probably the most visually stunning sights from the house of Visa2Explore in it's history!

This is very nice coverage. I visited this place in 1984 when my father was army (Assam Rifles) company commander in Tawang. Visited the Monastery then. Thanks for refreshing my memories. War stories give child hood memories. In 1984 same indo china war situation was growing when we have seen our jawans and soldiers were digging bunkers at strategic locations. Though it didn't begin. Lance Naik Jaswant Singh (now a Major) is a well known name in this Sella Pass war. Still couldn't understand why he was not given paramveer chakra. ...keep covering such places

Did you know?,,, The origin of the Tawang monastery dates back to the 17th century between 1680-1681. Merak Lama Lodre founded it with the blessings of the 5th Dalai Lama. The monastery was influenced by the Gelug (Yellow Hat) school of Vajrayana Buddhism, Buddhist traditions that have a connection to tantras. However, before the rise of the Gelug sect, Nyingmapa- the oldest of the four Tibetan Buddhism schools was dominant in the area. The fort-like structure of the monastery was under the control of Tibet up until 1914. After signing the Simla agreement, the area was ruled by the British. Legend has it that... The revered spiritual abode is not a haven for monks but is also a monastery surrounded by intriguing legends. The first legend narrates the story of the origins of Tawang Monastery. Merag Lama Lodre Gyatso’s horse found the location of the monastery. During his search, Merag failed to find the right place. He took refuge in a cave to pray and seek divine intervention. He left the cave only to find his horse missing. After a long search, Merag Lama found his horse grazing on Tana Mandekhang, a mountain which was earlier the palace of King Wala Wangpo. The lama took this sight as a blessing and established the monastery in 1681. The second legend talks about Terton Pema Lingpa, a saint who spoke about the initiations of Tamdin and Kagyad, which led to the name Tawang. Ta is an abbreviation of Tamdin, and Wang means initiation. The third legend revolves around the white horse of the Prince of Lhasa. This horse wandered into the Monpa region and was later found grazing at the monastery’s current location.

Commenting on 1962 debacle - because of India’s political incompetence led my Nehru and his coterie!! Nehru’s stooge Lt Gen BM Kaul was appointed GOC of North East (IV Corps) though he never commanded a fighting unit before. He fell ill (?) during the war and appeared in a forward post being carried on the shoulders of a jawan - later to disappear for the entire duration of the war and surfacing at Delhi. Whatever pride India salvaged was because of valour of her soldiers in NEFA and Ladakh For the scenic view - it is without any comparison !!

When Mao visited India, Nehru himself showed him the Indian Ordinance factory and nothing was happening inside the factory! This gave Mao the first hint that India is not prepared for any surprise attack! India lost a big strategic landmass during the war. If our forces didn't fight so valiantly we could have lost more. Every thing became just damage control. All respects to our army and those who have fallen.

No doubt huge respect for Indian Army 🇮🇳, but from the standpoint Tawang's local sightseeing... The video felt very repetitive as the same points about the War Memorial was talked again and again, with the light and sound show shown atleast thrice throughout the whole video. Seems the main objective of the video was not covered but rather was a video about Indo-China war, which I think could have been covered in a separate video whole together. It was very disappointing from the view of "Sightseeing of Tawang" as no local attractions are shown here.

Azaadi ke baad govt ko lmilitary strong karne me least interest tha. Isliye 15 saal baad bhi defense equipments na ke barabar thi. Hamare soldiers brave the jo us condition me bhi jam ke lade. Nehru ko intelligence reports thi ke china ke intentions kharab hai lekin fir bhi wo aggressive nahi huye aur darr ke karan bhai bhai ka nara dete rahe. Noble peace ki aag thi hamare netaon me us samay. Worst leadership

Without our dedicated soldiers, who braved extreme winter to protect our territory and sacrificed their life, this would have been part of Chinese territory by now. Otherwise this monastery would have been under Chinese control, with all their liberties taken off. Indian government should spend a lot of money building good infrastructure and improving roads.
