Beautiful footage of Pipe’s underground-wow, now I know why people get so worked on wipeouts! I think I’ll stick to snorkeling there in summer! Loved the video! Glad you’re ok!

After hearing so much about the reef at Pipe, it's so cool to see what it actually looks like (as someone who has never been to Oahu!). It's so beautiful yet so scary - so much respect to you and thanks for showing us! :)

I enjoyed learning about the reef. It is very shallow. I would be scared also. But then overcoming your fears is one of life's best feelings. I love your surf videos.

Did the board hit you or did you hit that reef when you fell? 😮

I hit the reef and the impact of just slapping the water knocked me unconscious!

What's your mindset pre surf? Do you pray? Do you prefer to be alone? What's your pregame secrets ? I would live to know. I'm living in Bocas del toro Panama 🇵🇦. I moved here to learn to surf after realizing It came natural to me. And to connect with nature. I'm now going through what you experienced . I am learning to embrace this situation and move on positive with God in my heart. 😊

I have very little experience in surfing. I love it, love watching. For some reason I thought falling in the water from a wave would be not bad at all. I was with an instructor. He was pumped how I really had no fear and wanted to surf all day. He even stayed an surfed with me after the season for a couple of hours. So I line up paddle towards the beach. He said bail wave to big! I ignored him, thinking this is what I want. He said it was about a four foot wave afterwards. Just that four foot smashed me, I went straight to the bottom hands first. I thought I broke my wrist. Elbow cut chest hurt. So you are super tough Moana! I would drown at pipe.
