Yeah I know everyone asks this. The Cabri added a heated pitot as an option which automatically turns on at a certain temperature so that light lets us know the temp is in the range where you would want pitot heat if it was snowing.

My question, raising the collective as a reaction to the failure means you’re going to decrease the force acting on the helicopter as it begins to fall, am I correct I understanding that?

You raise the collective after the engine failure to slow down the descent as you land the helicopter.

Am really enjoying this series! Two thumbs up!! But I do have one non helicopter question. There's a motorcycle parked next to the building at the end of the video. Is someone actually commuting on that thing in that kind of weather? ;-)

I like to crack the door open anytime I do engine failures in the hover because it gives me a bit more room to roll the throttle completely off because there isn't a ton of room between the collective and the door.
