Thanks Brian, currently waiting for the wind to go into the Sw before tackling Carnsore Pt and the turn northwards. Should happen tomorrow so will be venturing into the slightly stronger tides of St George’s Channel.

Seems like a good old adventure and a far cry from my experience of shuttling round the Solent. Seems like the outlook is a bit better weather wise and good Guinness too, what's not to like

Good to see you are both having a good time, I see on AIS you were parked in the Helford Estuary just below my farm at one point and saw out Noa in the Fal , very wise ! It was breverm rough as we say around ere, not many cobwebs left. Fair winds, a great adventure.

Thanks for this Paul, yes - we visited Trebar gardens and then set off. Hiding from storm Noa seemed like a sensible move

The legend says the Rolling Stones showed up in the bay singing : "I see a red lighthouse And I want it painted black No colors anymore I want them to turn black..." It's just a legend but the fact remains : this lighthouse is definitely...black ! ✌ Fair winds
