It was really great to meet you Andrew and thank you very much for coming down to see us. We really enjoyed Stornoway and our hire car journey. Now heading gently south. Very glad to sit out Saturday’s F8 in Tarbert.

Stornoway a great spot to get stuck for 48hrs... some great pubs on the quay on the other side where the ferry comes in.. If you pushed hard from say Campbeltown to Ullapool and did not stop would you have done it in 48hrs? Get a fly line in that last anchorage will be full of trout if the eagles are about..

We really enjoyed Stornoway - the Crit was a great night out. Will get the line out but haven’t been too lucky so far
