This remix is so good. The guitars are crystal clear, I can hear things that were previously buried in the mix and there are some lyrics that were previously indiscernible which are clear as a bell now. If you’re a fan of Kix, you need this.

100% I just got this and heard many things that you can't hear on the original mix. Same for Reblown. Can't listen to the original mix of either album anymore.

Kix were definitely not a hair metal/glam band, glad Steve made that clear. If anything those first three records (especially the first LP), sounds like a mash of punk, power pop, and hard rock. Not unlike if the New York Dolls and The Raspberries made a record. I always thought of Kix as a "street rock" band. There's also a DIY aspect (be it by design or because they needed to do it) this band had their peers didn't. Super underrated band

Look at the KIX Midnight Dynamite Re-Lit poster, (it's on the right in the introduction to the broadcast): It's so reminiscent of the KISS 10th Anniversary Tour & Lick It Up World Tour 1982-1984 (or "The KISS 150 Magic Nights Tour" as I call the collected effort, it's total Vinnie Magic start to finish) tour posters 🙂 ❤️. Great interview! Kix just flat out kicks ass and Steve is a great front man. You can tell he’s a great guy too. I love all their albums, even the dreaded Cool Kids. Haha! I do not understand why the band despises that album so much lol! It is more commercial sounding perhaps but I like every damn song on it. Wish they’d play Nice on Ice live sometimes. Hoping for a new Kix album soon!

I think Show Business is their best album, that entire album is great. I like Cool Kids too though but the band seems to hate it
