We had an unopened copy of this for decades in my mother’s basement. Judging by the cover, never even bothered to open it and threw it out when she could no longer live independently. Whoopsies! Very interesting game mechanics!

No because you have to switch tokens every time . If you are a detective you switch an alive token for an alive token and if you are the murderer you switch your token from alive to dead

Just found a complete copy of this for $4 at my local Savers. I have to admit I was a little excited to find it for so cheap when I know it goes for some money. Now to find 4 players to play it lol

I bought a mint condition version of this (still in the wrapper) several years ago and have only played it a few time (mostly because it is tough to get 4-6 players together these days). Nevertheless, still one of my favorite games.

I didn't understand everything here, but if I get this right, as soon as detective enters a room where a witness is "dead", he just has to look at "who was last person here" and game won ??

Or, the person dead in that room could have been the original murder that took place before the game even started, and the murderer might not have been in the room yet. Game is fun, we have had it for years, and still play occasionally.

Have you ever come across the Kojak game from the 70s? I don't own it but I've heard it's pretty schlocky. I assumed this one would be a simplistic money grab too to make cash off a popular tv show, but it looks like they put some thought into this.
