I'm very tempted by the truggy, as a good allround basher. It's big enough to work on different surface, and small enough to take it with you a bit everywhere....

I would support your decision ;)

If you haven't already just do it, they are fantastic. I ordered the SC after one pack with the Truggy, the SC is a lot of fun the Truggy is a beast.

I put the 'MT' front bumper on my truggy. You can do the rear MT bumper with a little modification, it's usually either wing OR bumper.

I actually threw on a B6 wing. You can see it in the build/review of the 14b I did. I think it seems to work better.

A beautiful white Land Rover Discovery? I didn't know the US got them.
@quietrcАй бұрын
Yup, we've had all the Discoveries as far as I know (except diesels, I believe). Sadly this one has been sold off as it was beyond repair. I miss it very much.

I watched your reflex video and now this one, I just built an emb1 and drove it once, and it’s fantastic on my smoother outdoor dirt track. Which car would you recommend the reflex or lc racing for a second car.
@quietrc5 ай бұрын
I’m literally just finishing building the Reflex kit. Not to do too many spoilers, but I loath this kit. It could be the worst kit I’ve ever built. Now, I haven’t driven it yet, but to change my overall opinion of this kit, it is going to have to be the best driving car I’ve ever experienced… then it’s going to need to drive off the track and make me breakfast.
@Mr316jon3165 ай бұрын
@@quietrchonestly that is sad to hear. I have one local the old style for $120 I might pick it up or buy an rtr lc… but I would love to get feedback or a direct comparison on the reflex to the ebm1 on a dirt track. I subbed to you.

I built the pro kit too and it's been a blast. I was able to make carbon fiber brace work with the spare screws included with my kit. Any plans to check out other LC racing cars? I'm tempted by the PTG-1.
@quietrc Жыл бұрын
Good point, I never actually opened the spare bag they included. I’m very tempted by the PTG-2, actually. I’m constantly tempted by rally cars!

For replacement tires, can you run 1/10th scale 4WD fronts on all corners, or do you need to run a specific wheel & tires size?
@rc-fannl73649 ай бұрын
1/10 buggy tires might be too big, but 1/10 scale rally/onroad wheels/tire sets do fit usually
@quietrc9 ай бұрын
Somebody did suggest 1/10 4wd fronts all around. I will need to try that.

The traction rolling will diminish as you adjust your driving characteristics, as dirt and carpet are radically different. Which require uniquely different throttle inputs.
@quietrc6 ай бұрын
You're absolutely correct... I need to put in the time to tune it.

I like how you ask people to subscribe by saying you need money for an assistant to flip over your RC lol

The wing has nothing to do with your traction rolling. Especially with the stock tires.
@quietrc Жыл бұрын
Agreed, I really need to play around with the tires.

best of the LC Racing cars. Bought one. Built another.

It definitely makes me more confident to try a few more of their chassis.
