Haha...Lisa....it was either Thailand or Baja Sur...lol...yes my wife is from Thailand and we basically came home to roost and make a life of it...and indeed...a life long project..of which life is short...

how thick is the concret you have you nock down house on what stops the wind from going under and lifting it

Our foundation isn’t that thick…only about 6” or 15cm….but of course has cross beams and pile caps so it’s quite secure…the wood beam footings are sitting on top then bolted to the concrete….we’ve had some pretty strong winds but no lifting…no one I know has either…..for any newer house anyway…
