EP05 | Mighty Zojila Pass : Kaisa hai Zero point route | Kargil war memorial | Ladakh Road Trip

Enjoyed the #kashmir #valley and #sonamarg ..had sindh river side breakfast and then crossed mighty #zojilapass , People say roads are now better but thats what people say :) They are still amongst the #toughest roads to drive. We then crossed #drass which is the 2nd #coldest inhabitable place on earth. It is at higher altitute than kargil so should not stay more than 15 mins here. We also visited #kargil #warmemorial which is a must if you travelling through this route.

At #kargil we stayed at hotel Rangyul which is nice property for overnight stay.
At #srinagar I stayed at hotel near #lalchowk , named naya kashmir hotel. Its good for overnight stays only specially if you are a traveller and need access to market.

We had a lot of memorable momments in this trip and we will be putting some of them in this series. We will also tell you thing to keep in mind if you travelling with a kid.
We crossed extremely difficult terrains like #changlapass #khardunglatop #baralachapass pass and also faced heavy #landslide zones near #ramban #nubravalley to #pangongtso & #leh #manali route.
we came across one the finest roads in India e.g #nh152D between #narnaul to #ambala at the same time route with no roads at all e.g near pangong, changla, barlachala etc. It requires a lot of skill to drive in these terrains and would not recommend in case you dont know how to drive in mountains.

Hi Sandeep.. thanks for suggestion.. however all hotel names are there in respective videos description as per place where I stayed in each episode and there is a final video in same ladakh playlist about cost and budget and has the rates for each and every stay.. hope that suffice the need. Any starting problem due to cold weather and diesel engine ?

I didn’t faced any issue however if temp goes below 0 specially at passes pls keep your car on if you stepping out for 5-10 mins for photos etc.. dont turn off engine at high passes bcoz oxygen is less too plus sub 0 temp can cause problems. Good luck.

Point noted and aware, actually problem was noticed post publishing video and somehow filmora audio ducking didn’t worked and got reset.. on Laptop it was playing fine but don’t know what happened later.. will double check from next series onwards before publishing. Thanks
