@@bugkuska wow we did not think these would work... :) do we need to do any special programming or is it plug and play ?? The reason is our inverter is far from the mains meter and it would be very difficult to run this cable from the Chint device to the RS485 input of inverter..

@@bugkuska ahh we not sure about this, its a Solax X1 3kw grid tie inverter with a plug for RS485 to communicate with the Chint DDSU666 smart meter
