Ep1: Norwegian Forest Kitten arriving at our home!!

That tail was straight up in the air, showing absolute confidence and happiness! This breed, the Norwegian Forest Cat, is very loving and loyal... I miss my past best friend, Henry (aka Mr. Fuzzy Mischief-maker)... he was a cutie, with his white tummy, white paws, and black body... His face looked like that triangular shape that the NFC typically has, and there was like an upside down white heart shaped area of fur on the front part of his face (nose and mouth region), with a black fur dot in the middle of the white upside down heart shape... Ugh, such a beautiful boy, and I miss him so...

Nods. That's what I said. That's one confident kitten. My ragdoll Tiberious did the same thing when I adopted him at 6 months old. Tried to do the slow intro to our other cats thing and he was having none of it. Walked around, tail in the air, totally unafraid, like he already owned the place! 🙂

I rescued a Siberian Forest cat outside my home. She is brown with black stripes. She was 3 months old. No one claimed her. I named her Lucy. She is 5 years old now. I love her so much. Yours is beautiful. My cat likes to cuddle upside down in my arms but she is huge and heavy with stocky legs and feet. I live in the USA.

These are some of the sweetes breeds of cats i have owned... We had the first one when i was 8, and a week after we got him i had a really bad case of the flu lasting almost two weeks, so i had to stay in bed most of the time, and all the while i was there, our new cat immediatly started sleeping next to me, then half on me, and for the final week he slept squarely on my chest, often resting his head on my chin... I did have to get used to when they knead you, as they use their claws, which are TERRIFYING on a forest cat!

Reminded me of bringing my Norwegian girl home for the first time. Iella's 10 now. They do grow into those huge paws and ears eventually. She was always friendly, but it wasn't until she was nearly 10 that she became a lapcat. Now she's a warm, fuzzy blanket that keeps me nice and cosy.

I found an abandoned kitten who looks EXACYLY like this kitten. She's bad; she bites & terrorizes my older fur baby and sometimes I just want to throw her out. Then..like tonight, she'll cuddle up against me (after climbing curtains knocking her brothers water bowl off the side of the tub etc) and lets me love her. I can't get rid of her. Darn it :)

Barbi Button You might want to try to play with her a LOT to make her exhausted as well as get a feliway or feliway friends to plug into the Wall ( zoo store) Also is there a place you can give the older cat so that it can have a break from baby. Ps remember When I had kittens We didnt sleep properly the first 7 months and yes they were cute little horrors exactly like yours!ds.

Just adopted a cat we believe is at least part Norwegian Forest Cat. He has the furry ears, huge paws with fluff between his toes, and a big bushy tail. He is only about 7-8 months old but already looks like a normal full-grown cat. He's a shoulder cat as well! We are in the process of introducing him to the house kitty so he's been cooped up in the laundry room, but soon he'll be out and about.

i think I had an NFC but idk if he was a full breed. He had that triangular shaped face but wasnt that big of a cat. His name was Jello because we had a female named PB(Peanut Butter) so both would be Peanut Butter and Jello haha. He was my best friend. He would only listen to me when I call him. He wouldnt listen to other fam members just me. He always slept in my room and I always felt safe with him there cause I get a lot of sleep paralysis but knowing he was inside it didnt bother me. He died last year october because of heart/lung failure or something like that. I love you buddy

Deep Cut Gardens in New Jersey had a living mascot who was a Norwegian Forest Cat. He was taken in as a 6 week old kitten back in 1968 and lived to be 23 years old. It's amazing how People friendly He was considering that as a 6 week old kitten, He was literally thrown out of a car window near the area and had to be rushed off to the animal hospital to be treated for a fractured shoulder bone.
