Good sail Andy, nice flotilla in Newport. How great they have a nice anchorage for visitors. Looks like a boat show happening. Its been about 24 years since I've been to Newport, wow has it changed. Thanks for taking us on another voyage.

Quickly becoming one of my favorite channels. Watching someone learn sailing (gaining experience, I should say) makes it feel more attainable. And remember if you need parts I may be able to hook you up. Also I tuned into keeldraggers channel and have now sub'd.

100 watt Renogy solar panel on each side. You can find these brackets on Amazon and you need to fabricate your extension supports. 🤙🏼

Great sailing! Could you list the make, length, and year of your boat in the "Show More"? I like what you did with your Panel mounting. I'm going to remember that.

@@sailingsole Sorry so many dumb questions as I am sure somewhere in all your other YT you said what it was. I have been watching (binge-watching) a ton of 40LOA and under down to 27LOA sloops in that potential $6K and under (going to the auction you showed us viewers) range. Watching both purchasing and sailing KZbins so I am getting some of the boats/KZbin provides mixed up. I guessed yours was a Catalina 27 so good to know a 27 will not be as nice as yours inside as I think yours is perfect for what I want to do.

Any regrests on the 30? I want one, but wonder if 34 might be better for two? What do you think of her so far?
@ConquerCollin Жыл бұрын
In terms of space, the 30 is enough for 2 and you get a lot of practical advantages with a smaller boat...but if you have the cash then 34 is going to be a palace
@sailingsole Жыл бұрын
I’d agree with Collin. I love my C30, it’s great for what I do. It’s certainly big enough for two and a very capable little cruiser but the C34 is quite an upgrade imo. I love the C34’s. Do I have any regrets? No but I feel like I will want something a little bigger in the future but if I keep Stoked forever then I’ll still be happy.
