Great Video! I have been working in this area for a couple years now. @5:30 I like your solution for the control valves, we use Taco valves with a temperature sensor control relay as we don't want any warm fluid causing an overheat of the house due to the confined area of the ductwork that the air to water heat exchanger will be located. We also use the water glycol loop with an indirect hot water tank. These videos are amazing explainers and I wish they were around 2 years ago when we started! Keep it up!

I’m considering doing home heating without immersion. I will be locating the asic in my attic. Swapping in an inline duct fan for noise reduction, and adding a secondary duct system, independent of the main hvac. I could tie into the existing ducting but that has its own issues. Still deciding if I want to regulate heat by underclocking or using an external duct diverters. It’s still 105 F in Texas so I’m in no hurry to begin work.

Yeah...there are quite a few people who have gone that route with success. You'd fall into that category where you're only mining when you need heat, which I'll cover soon. When you get your setup up and running, send me some photos!
