Hi Teti, My family lives in Canada and my sister-in-law is of Ukrainian decent. Her family came to Canada about 100 years ago. She, my nieces, and nephew make psanky every spring for Easter. It is one many wonderful traditions to keep. Thanks for sharing your egg decorating. Cheers-Laura

I have just discovered your podcasts Teti and they are so impressive and amazing - you have such a wonderful talent - well range of 'talents' and your resulting designs are quite wonderful. I have been watching your back catalogue and now I am going to have huge trouble deciding which of your patterns to knit first. Pleased you are feeling a little better or at least did when this pod was aired - and hope your trip home will be all that you'd wish. If only the warmongers on our precious Mother Earth would take up knitting or some other creative and intelligent activities rather than pursuing cruel and senseless destruction - it is unimaginable that so many have suffered because of their violent and ignorant actions. Please take care of yourself Teti !

Another gorgeous shawl. I just finished knitting the javelin shawl (my 2nd shawl ever knitted) two days ago and I did use one strand of Nutiden yarn and one strand of silk/mohair blend yarn (1st time using this combo) and I absolutely loved the result. This new shawl also looks so beautiful and I am hoping to knit it next year. Wishing you safe travels and wonderful memories with your family.

Hello Teti, I pray that all goes well for you and your family. Your audience, me, do not mind listening to you at all. Can you do a video on how to knit sweaters that fit? Also, I like my sleeves with enough room under the armpit and the collar with enough room to fit loosely. I am sorry that I am asking for this when you are just getting over not feeling great. No rush! Thank you kindly.

Testing, would plotulopi be suitable for your new shawl? I have 900m. I've never been able to obtain the suggested yarn. I hope you and your grandmother are safe despite the war. Much love Emma in New Zealand

Hi Emma, I think so, yes! But then you don’t need to add silk-mohair. It might be a bit heavier than the original, but should work 🤗

Teti, where can we buy the yarn for the shawl. I know where to buy Knitting for Olive mohair yarn, but not the other yarn in the USA.
@TetiLutsak
@TetiLutsak Жыл бұрын
Hi, the Nutiden yarn is available on honerocheir website when a new collection goes live. It is made in small batches and you have to be quick to snatch some. Otherwise, you can substitute it with manchelopi or plotulopi or any other fingering weight yarn.
