Happy new year & best of luck in the coming year. I must say your wisdom is unquestionable. Cherish each day for each is a gift. It takes courage and the where with all to do what you folks are doing. Not all of us have one or the other so we appreciate you allowing us to follow along. And by the way your folks had some great tour guides. Looking forward to your next years adventures!

I'll take pie over cake any day! And, I've made countless pies, often using a wine bottle to roll out the dough! I think Logan may have a future in baking. Another place to put on your list is the Havasupai section of the Grand Canyon. I've been there twice, but a long time ago. There is a State or National park portion, but if that is filled you can also camp in the Indian reservation part (for a small fee). It takes a half day+ to hike down and 3/4 day+ to hike out. But once you get there, you should camp for at least 3 days. I spent a week each time I went. There are 3 waterfalls and swimming lakes below, with cascades you can sit in like a jacuzzi. It really is paradise in the desert - I know the boys will love it! Best time to go is late spring or early fall. Google some pictures of it - though they won't do the place justice (as you know). Great episode - no nice you could spend all that time with your folks.

Thank you so much for the wonderful tips! Havasupai is on our bucket list!! Would love to do it one day. So awesome you got to experience it, would love to visit when our youngest is a tad. It older to remember it better (and hike a little longer!). Blessings to you, thanks for watching and we hope you had a wonderful start to the New Year!
