Ep26 | In the eye of the storm!

Lightning storms are one of a sailors worst fears. On a night sail from Italy to Croatia we get caught in the middle of a monster storm. For forty minutes we were stuck in the eye of the storm with lightning strikes all around. The timing was bad. We were approaching land, and the raging storm to the South and West of us meant we had no choice but to navigate a narrow channel with close to zero visibility.
Limping into Dubrovnik we managed to check in, sailing on to enjoy the stunning Croatian coast. It really is a sailors paradise, despite the thunder storms!
